ISO 9000 - Quality Management Marcela Ivankovich

The ISO 9000 family addresses several aspects of quality management and contains some of the best known ISO standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations that want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that quality is constantly improved.

ISO 9001: 2015
ISO 9001: 2015 sets the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified (although this is not a requirement). It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are more than one million companies and organizations in more than 170 countries certified with ISO 9001.

This standard is based on a series of quality management principles that include a strong focus on the client, the motivation and involvement of senior management, the process approach and continuous improvement. These principles are explained in more detail in the Principles of quality management of pdf. The use of ISO 9001: 2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn provides many commercial benefits.
